Welcome to Crossfit Yorktown!

 CrossFit Yorktown is not your typical gym. We are a Fitness Academy. We strive to break away from the current, flawed fitness model we see so prevalent in America. You won’t find the frills that most gyms offer today; juice bars and fancy machines. What you will find is a supportive environment that will provide you will the tools necessary to achieve your fitness goals. The “old-school” tools are our basic equipment in achieving your success. Barbells, dumbbells, rowers, kettle bells, wall balls, rings, pull-up bars, and jump ropes are cherished above all else. Of course, the greatest key to your success is you. With the proper positive mindset and determination under the watchful eye of our dedicated staff of coaches all fitness goals become within reach. Whatever your fitness level is today and whatever your fitness goals may be, we are there to help and guide you every step of the way. As with any endeavor you may choose to participate in, having fun is the glue that holds it all together.

    I've always loved exercise but I’ve always hated gyms. Two hours for a decent workout, half the day’s gone and I push myself only as hard as I want to – too easy to give up. I was introduced to cross-fit by colleagues at work a couple of years back and loved it. Of course, there were no crossfit gyms in my area. And then Crossfit Yorktown opened up.

    I went. Ray Carile, the owner and head coach broke it down simply: keep your core strong, keep your spine straight, technique before speed or power; he broke down the diet pyramid adding “eating right’s at least 50% of the battle.
